2012 list of events from Triathlon Scotland

Wednesday February 8th - Mudhoneys Glentress Night Ride - Intermediate/Advanced - meeting time 7pm at the Peel Centre Car Park to be ready to ride for 7:15pm. Proper Mountain Biking Lights are essential.
Thursday February 9th- Trihoneys running training, week 5 of 6, 7-8pm Saughton Park floodlit running track, suitable for all levels including beginners. £4 drop in.
Saturday February 11th - Mudhoneys Glentress - Beginners/Improvers, meeting at 10.30 at the Peel Centre car park. Bike hire available at Glentress.
Sunday February 12th - Skinnies - East Lothian 20-30 miler. Meeting at 10am at cobbled entrance to Dalkeith Country Park, 12-14 mph, for a ride around the Gifford area. Watch facebook for further info or cancellations. Text 07931 317568 to confirm attendance.

Saturday February 18th - Leisure/Rusties ride - usual ride to South Queensferry, with 2 distance options and café stop. Meet @ 10am at cycle racks at Haymarket Station for 20 mile option, or for shorter 10 mile Rusties option join at Cramond Brigg at 10.45am. Full distance ride includes some sections on quieter roads. Shorter option is through Dalmeny estate mostly on cycle paths. Ride suitable for MTB or hybrid bikes - gravel/muddy paths in Dalmeny estate make it tricky for skinny tyres.
Saturday February 18th - shorter East Lothian Skinnies meeting at 10am, at the bandstand/pump station at the far end of Portobello Promenade (Musselburgh end), for a 20-30 mile ride, no stops while it's cold!
Sunday February 19th
Lifecycles Charity Spin Class
starting at 6pm, join the lifecylce team to
raise money for their Charity Bike Ride.
£10 per person.

Saturday February 25th - Skinnies - 40-50 miler from Livingston to Biggar and back, with cafe stop in Biggar. 13/14 mph. Meet at Livingston South rail station car park for a 9.30 start. May be useful prep for any early season sportives. Watch facebook for further info or cancellations, and please post nearer the time to confirm if you are coming.
Sunday February 26th - Skinny Leisure ride - Meet at cycle racks at Haymarket Station (time TBC) for 20 - 30 mile Leisure ride on-road including Craigies café stop. This ride will be on a mixture of roads and cycle paths. Suitable for road bikes and hybrids, with leisure pace of 9-10 mph. Please post on facebook to confirm if you are coming nearer the time, and watch facebook for late weather cancellations.
